The Neurorabilization system Doctor Kinetic is a great and innovative device for rehabilitation centers

  • The Doctor Kinetic Rehabilitation Platform uses Kinect motion sensor technology to offer effective individual rehabilitation options. It is an innovative and engaging way to perform standard rehabilitation exercises using interactive games. Training with this method develops muscle strength, increases limb coordination and range of motion. This device was designed to increase patient motivation through a variety of interactive games. Doctor Kinetic is a tool to replace traditional rehabilitation equipment.

This device has a built-in Microsoft kinetic sensor that creates a depth map using infrared and sophisticated image processing techniques. This map allows you to estimate the distance to objects in front of the camera.
The position detection algorithm of this device monitors the position of 25 body parts simultaneously using the provided kinetic sensor data. Based on this data, the algorithm measures the effectiveness of the exercise performed by the player.
The patient action detection algorithm continuously measures the efficiency of the player's movement. During the measurement process, the sensor scans each part of the body, and compares position and movement with a pre-set pattern. Whether an action is performed correctly is determined by calculating a match threshold for each part of the human body and a predetermined model. If a predetermined limit is reached, the action is considered to have been performed correctly.

Doctor Kinetic offers 30 levels of exercise difficulty, which are divided into three groups:
    1) Initial - the initial stage of treatment.
    2) Treatment - the middle stage of treatment.
    3) Active - a later stage of treatment.

In the first level, the compliance threshold is 25%, which means that it is very easy to do the exercise correctly.
The pre-determined matching threshold for the highest difficulty level is 80% and the action detection algorithm requires the player to perform the movements very accurately to perform the exercise correctly.

With Doctor Kinetic, the recovery process becomes more dynamic so patients can see what progress they have made. As patients need to perform movements more accurately, this program is very effective.
The device has six programs and 60 treatment subgroups, offering 66 different types of exercise, as well as advanced reporting features.

DoctorKinetic offers 6 modules: Balance, Demonstration, General, Lower Back, Lower Limbs and Shoulders.
Each module is a set of treatment programs for different patient therapies.

    1. Balance - this module consists of “basic” and “advanced” difficulty training that helps to improve and improve balance.

    2. Demonstration - This module consists of several examples of treatment programs that can be used to develop new treatment programs for patients.

    3. General - This module is for patients with chronic diseases. Training helps patients strengthen, improves coordination, develops proprioception and balance. Programs are designed to strengthen different muscle groups.

    4. The lower back is a therapy for the lower back. Exercises and workout programs are designed to strengthen the lower back and core muscles, as well as to stabilize and mobilize the spine in a variety of planes.

    5. For the lower extremities, it is therapy for the lower extremities. The programs in this module are divided into planes of movement (single or different) that distinguish different stages of treatment. The lower extremity module combines a variety of exercises: leg muscle strengthening, coordination, dynamic stabilization, proprioception, and balance.

    6. Shoulders - for the treatment of the upper extremities. It also helps to strengthen the muscles of the shoulder girdle and improves the "reach" function.
