A simulator of newborn care and advanced life saving skills

This training model was developed to meet the curriculum objectives of the Neonatal Resuscitation Program published by the American Academy of Pediatrics. It offers many training options:

Airway, breathing and ventilation

- Anatomical landmarks

- Auscultation of lung sounds during ventilation

- Bilateral lung expansion

- ET tube insertion

- Manually control breathing rate and depth

- Positive pressure ventilation

- Realistic chest compressions

- Sellick's maneuver

- Possibility of unilateral chest movement (intubation of collapsed lungs and main trunk).

Birth anomalies

- Neural tube defect (Myelomeningocele) easily attaches to the back

- Omphalocele

Chest tube

- Practice chest tube insertion and care of the chest tube area

Washing and changing diapers

- Practice cleaning, bathing and changing diapers

- Waterproof and fully submersible

Gastrointestinal (GI) tract

- Accepts OG/NG tube to practice feeding and pumping

- Various monitors, sensors and electrodes can be attached and connected

Monitoring and measurement

- Track and measure each body part (head, navel, skin, etc.)
