How to fasten the belt

The belt is worn on the lower back (lumbar region) when sitting.
The belt shall be tightened and hooked by the first or second level lock (green or yellow mark) on the vertical hoist.
It is important to choose the right size for the patient's physique.

Hook adjustment

Classic position:
Green or yellow mark (level 1 or level 2) when the patient has sufficient trunk tone.

Crossed position:
Red or black mark (level 3 or 4) when the patient has reduced tone in the trunk and lower limbs.

Belt position

Uncrossed - good trunk tone
Crossed - lack of trunk tone

Additional information

Verticonfort belt and Premium Vertical Lift belt:
For patients with haemiplegia, it is recommended to use a one level shorter hook on the affected side (e.g. green on the healthy side, yellow on the affected side) to compensate for the lack of tone (only with the Premium Vertical Lift model).
