ViscoMax viscoelastic Mattress for the Prevention and Treatment of Pressure Ulcers

A passive, anti-pressure ulcer mattress designed for patients with a moderate to high risk of pressure ulcers (stages I–IV). The mattress consists of three layers of foam, 15 cm thick. The base layer is U-shaped and made of cold-cured polyurethane foam with a density of 42 kg/m³. The middle layer provides stability to the mattress and is made of cold-cured polyurethane foam with a density of 42 kg/m³. The top layer of the mattress is made of viscoelastic foam with a density of 60 kg/m³. The viscoelastic layer is additionally milled into cubes. Milling the foam into cubes ensures better air circulation and moisture wicking, while also protecting the patient from moisture and overheating. A medical-grade mattress cover with a zipper and flaps is included with the mattress. The mattress features reinforced edges to make getting out of bed easier and more comfortable.  HR cold-cured polyurethane foam and viscoelastic foam in accordance with  EN 597-1 and EN 597-2.
